Spoonbill RV Park - How to Get Here

Smith Point is located Southeast of Houston, Texas in a bay connected to the Gulf of Mexico. The best way to come is to travel Interstate 10.

As you can see, the only way to arrive from the South is by boat. Note, however, the closeness of Galveston by means of boat travel.

Arriving from the West, take Exit 812 and turn right (South) on Hwy. 61. If arriving from the east, take Exit 813 and turn left (South) under the freeway on Hwy. 61. Continue on Hwy. 61 until you arrive at a four-way stop.

Go straight through the 4-way stop. The road now becomes FM 562. Stay on 562 for approximately 15 miles.

After travelling the 15 miles, you will arrive at a fork (Y) in the road. Take the right fork, which is Smith Point Road. Begin watching for signs for Spoonbill RV Park. You are almost here!

Smith Point Rd. will cross Hawkins Camp Rd. Turn right on Hawkins Camp and follow the signs to Spoonbill RV Park!
